Edward M. Barrows, Courses

In the last 10 years at GU, I’ve taught Foundations in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior 501 (a graduate course); Forest Ecology 355; Graduate and Undergraduate research, History of Life 356, and Senior Thesis.

Since spring term 2007, I’ve been primarily teaching Forest Ecology 016, a science course for nonscience majors (syllabus, and Forest Ecology 355, a course aimed at biology majors. In spring term 2008, I am a Charles Engelhard Fellow with regard to the course. The Charles Engelhard Foundation awarded a grant to GU Creative New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) which is enhancing the human-health infusion in the course.
