  These aphids are feeding on Heliopsis helianthoides (= Ox-eye) (Aster Family), in the Butterfly Garden, Ecology Laboratory, Georgetown University.   This aphid species (possibly the Brown Ambrosia Aphid, Dactynotus ambrosiae, Westcott 1973, page 68) also feeds on Black-eyed Susan, another member of the Aster Family.
