Our Forest Ecology Class found these larvae on a road.   Perhaps they left the soil because it was so wet in the area.   Green June Beetle locomote on their backs when they are out of soil.   They vomited on the hand of our intrepid course teaching assistant.   Please click here for more information about Monongahela National Forest.
