Additional Information: I found this mantid on the steps of the Observatory. It was laying on its back and nearly frozen. I brought it inside for pictures, and it warmed up and quickly began laying eggs. The second movie is of the egg laying process.

A single egg mass will produce hundreds of these alien invasive organisms.
